Sport

We at Ratton School intend to get pupils interested in a fit and healthy lifestyle, by giving tham a broad range of physical concepts and purposes. We aim to develop skill which can be used after leaving school, fostering a lifelong interest in physical activity.

The school environment is important. The school has excellent facilities which enable the staff to get as much out of the pupils as they can. The attitude among the department is dynamic and hard working. We are committed to maximizing pupil participation and achievement. Pupils are encouraged to participate in inter-community and inter-school competition. We expect the same level of commitment from the pupils as the staff.

Community Sports Captains

Congratulations to all of our ‘Sports Captains’ who have been selected by the PE Department to assist with both our team and community sporting fixtures at Ratton School. The Inter-Community captains have helped to set off a successful competition in years 7-9 which will see pupils representing their communities in a range of sporting activities throughout the year. More information is available on the notice board on the north playground outside the doors to Refresh, or by speaking to a member of the PE Department.
