South Downs Learning Trust

South Downs Learning Trust is the formation of a new multi-academy trust involving Ratton School and Ocklynge Junior School.

The Governors at both schools and the Local Authority have agreed that Huxley Knox-Macaulay will take up the post of Executive Headteacher for both Ratton and Ocklynge from Monday 30th of October. This will give him the opportunity to support both schools with their key priorities for improvement and formalise the significant amount of joint work that has taken place to date.

He is looking forward to working across both schools and knows that there is a very strong Leadership team in place at Ratton, which will be led by Elizabeth Fitzpatrick, Deputy Headteacher, when he is not on site. He will continue to be Headteacher at Ratton and will ensure that the success of Ratton students remains our priority.
