Big Bang Science Fair
11 students in year 7 and 8 created 2 fantastic projects to enter in the Big Bang science fair which aims to promote STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) jobs. They have worked really hard for the past few months to create large displays to showcase their projects (the properties of slime and the energy stored in food). They had to explain their rationale and relevant science to judges (and other students and teachers) throughout the morning, then they enjoyed a science magic show in the afternoon. The students did an amazing job and were highly complimented by the judges for the quality of their presentation and their enthusiasm. They were excellent ambassadors for the school with exemplary attitude and behaviour throughout the day.
